The Certificate IV in Health Care (Ambulance) qualification is designed to meet the needs of professionals who provide emergency response services within the mining, industrial or corporate sectors.
It will be delivered by qualified St John paramedics and staff as an interactive ten day program, which goes beyond the usual theory delivery in a classroom and instead gives students the opportunity to learn in a simulated work environment.
Students will be learning within a replicated Industrial Medic situation, with simulated drills, exercises and industry specific scenarios. The interactive and hands-on nature of the course will ensure that students are well prepared to deliver medical aid when back in their own workplace settings. The course is also setup in modules, meaning that students can complete in an order and timeframe that suits them and their employer.
