Policies and Standards for RTOs
St John Ambulance Western Australia is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), via the College of Pre-Hospital Care under RTO ID number 0392.
The Standards for Registered Training Organisations (
The purpose of these Standards is to:
- Set out the requirements that an
organisationmust meet in order to be a registered training organisation(RTO).
- Ensure that training products delivered by RTOs meet the requirements of training packages or VET accredited courses, and have
integrity foremployment and further study.
- Ensure RTOs operate ethically with due consideration of participants’ and enterprises’ needs.

The standards came into effect in April 2015.
St John RTO currently has thirty (30) policies in place that fully support the Standards for RTOs 2015.
